This institute was established by the govt. of Bihar for women only to train for their employment in various departments. This institution has the honor of the being the first women Polytechnic in North Bihar. It was called IT. In this too, thirty seats were allotted and the minimum qualification for admission was matriculation. In the next session, it was named as MOP on place of stenography & Secretarial Practice. Like other branches, the minimum qualification for admission was matriculation. This branch also had thirty seats. In this very session, the computer Sc. & Engg. Was introduced in place of IT and all these courses were meant for three years curses. The criteria were thirty seats and the minimum qualification was matriculation. This is being followed in the preset session.
