Bihar Biography.

History of Bihar:-

In eastern India Bihar is a state . It is the third largest state in population and twelve largest by the territory .in area Bihar is covered 94,163 km sq . Bihar contiguous with Uttar Pardesh to its west .Nepal to the north eastern part of west Bengal and the Jharkhand to the south .

Bihar history:-

The Bihar is split by the river Ganges it is flow from the west to east . There is three main Cultural Regions are coverage in  the Bihar state :

1.           MAGADH
2.           MITHILA
3.           BHOJPUR

In 15 November 2000 the Bihar is divided in to the 2 state  which names is Jharkhand. 

Ancient Period:-

In Saran district Chirand is on the northern bank of the Ganga River has an archaeological record from the Neolithic age(2500-1345 BCE).some region of Bihar such as Magadha, Mithila and Anga are mentioned in religious text and epics of ancient India.

Videha kingdom was establishment after Mithila gained Prominence. During the late vedic period (1100-500 BCE), videha become one of the major political and cultural centrs of South Asian along with Kuru and Pancala. Janalaa were called the king of the Videha Kingdom.

Painting:-

In Bihar there are Several traditional style painting Practised. In one is Mithila Painting is mostly used in Mithila region of Bihar this painting traditional practice mainly by Women, passed down generation to generation.  During the Mithila festival this painting was usually done on the wall. religious event births, marriage and other cultures milestone.

Madhubani art is also called the Mithila paintings.

In arts:-

In musicians field Bihar has produced like Bharat ratna , Ustad Bismillah Khan and dhrupad singers the Mallika( Darbhanga Gharana) And  the Mishra's( bettiah Gharana ) along with poets like Vidyapati Thakur Who contributed to Mithila music.

The classical music in Bihar is a form of Hindustani classical music.

In Bihar Gaya is an another Centre of classical music particular of the Tappa and Thumri varieties.

Cinema:-

Bihar has mostly produced the Bhojpuri, magadhi - Mithila and Angika - language films.

The first film was produced in Bihar , Ganga Jamuna released in 1961 .In Mithila language  the first film was Kanyadan in 1965., Bhaiyaa is the first film in Magadhi in bihar .  

 Mithila Makhaan film won the National Film award for best Maithili in 2016 in language Maithili.
